Head Chef / Senior Sous Chef

Hospitality · Bunbury, WA, Australia · Full-Time · $100,000 - $110,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Chefs from Mzansi who have run a busy pass will know what this job asks for. A hotel group with two established, year-round hotels in regional Western Australia, south of Perth, needs a senior chef to take charge of one of its two kitchens.
The food is elevated pub dining in a modern Australian style, alongside Italian-inspired dishes made from fresh local produce. You could come in as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, depending on your experience, skills and career goals. Management trains and backs you at the start, then you take on more of the kitchen.
It is a full-time, salaried job on 38 ordinary hours a week, plus reasonable extra hours where applicable. You need to be already living in Australia with work rights. Later on, the employer may consider sponsorship for suitable candidates, subject to eligibility, what the business needs and immigration regulations; more than 10 staff in the group are on that route now.
Your English CV must show the kitchens you have run and your food-cost control. Get a pub-and-Italian kitchen CV sorted with Build AI CV, then apply.
