Straight to it. A country hotel in regional Victoria, near Sale, wants a full-time chef who can cook creative, quality food when the kitchen is flat out.
You will not be stuck on one station. You work with the Head Chef on new menu items and on making existing dishes better, you run prep and cooking efficiently, and you keep the kitchen clean and hygienic. Guests get prompt service, and you help keep stock and orders on track. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook creative, high-quality meals in a kitchen that moves fast
- Work with the Head Chef to come up with new menu items
- Improve existing dishes with the Head Chef
- Get all prep and cooking done efficiently and to a high standard
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and hygienic
- Give guests excellent service and deal with their requests promptly
- Help with inventory management and ordering kitchen supplies
- Follow all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years of experience as a Chef/Cook in a similar hospitality setting
- Formal culinary training or qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Excellent knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Excellent knowledge of food safety practices
- Strong time management in a busy kitchen
- Strong multitasking skills during busy service
- Team player who contributes to a positive work culture and has a passion for high-quality meals and improving the dining experience
