The venue is part of a hospitality group that is growing, with fine and casual dining spots in Queensland and New South Wales. You get a bistro restaurant, plus weddings, conferences, functions and live music events that come round often. Menus, people, costs and event planning will all be on your plate. You need 2+ years' experience in similar roles.

Key Responsibilities
- Build menus with real flair for the bistro and the event packages
- Run the kitchen team and hit the KPIs
- Help bring in new talent and build up the crew you already have
- Keep the kitchen a positive place to work
- Watch food quality, portion control and presentation on every plate
- Oversee bistro service and run the planning and delivery of functions and events
Requirements & Eligibility
- 2+ years' experience in similar roles
- High emotional intelligence
- Strong people management skills
- Proven experience running a fast-paced, multifaceted kitchen
- Attention to detail
- Quality control
- Understanding of costing and profits
- Strong organisation and planning skills
