Assistant Chef
Visa sponsorship
Hospitality · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Contract · $35/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Straight up, a Sydney pub under new ownership wants an Assistant Chef, and it wants someone hungry to grow. The owners are after enthusiastic, innovative and aspirational cooks or chefs.
They plan to renovate the hotel top to bottom, bring in more entertainment and build a busy local and sports venue on the back of good food. Lunch and dinner go out every day across several areas.
It is casual work. You would cover Monday and Tuesday lunch and dinner, plus Saturday and Sunday lunch or dinner, and the hours should climb as the venue grows. Can start now? That counts strongly in your favour. The venue may be able to offer sponsorship opportunities to the right candidate.
If you have cooked through hectic services back in Mzansi, show it. List each commercial kitchen, the pace you handled and your hygiene standards in a clear English CV. Get your pub-kitchen CV in shape on Build AI CV.
