Manufacturing · Hamilton, New Zealand · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Straight up, this job is about keeping a busy food plant on plan. A growing primary-sector manufacturer in Hamilton, New Zealand, which exports mainly to China and Southeast Asia, needs a planner who owns the schedule and keeps production and sales talking.
Peak deer velvet season runs to February/March, so you start running. It is full-time, 40 hours per week, with extra hours in the peak, and they want someone as soon as possible. You get one direct report, a first crack at leadership with room to grow.
Only people already in New Zealand can apply, and offshore applications go nowhere. The accredited employer does welcome applicants who need Accredited Employer Work Visa sponsorship, provided they are in the country and have New Zealand work experience.
Whether you trained in Mzansi or elsewhere, your CV needs hard proof of planning, such as runs scheduled, stock kept accurate and ERP systems used. Get a production planner CV squared away with Build AI CV.
