Accounting & Finance · Melbourne, VIC, Australia · Contract · $90,000 - $120,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored · Applicants: Onshore applicants only
Here it is, straight up. A Melbourne digital marketplace business that is growing hard wants a Financial Accountant who can run the numbers properly. The job starts temporary and is built to become permanent and full-time, so there is a real next step if you deliver.
You report to the Financial Controller and work with the CFO on day-to-day operations. The core of the work is getting month-end done right, keeping the balance sheet honest and making sure every entity in the group meets its statutory obligations. Daily transactions are handled by an assistant accountant; you review the main ledgers and back up the cash and budget routines. No heavy commercial modelling here, just solid accounting basics and clean reports.
Full visa sponsorship is available for eligible Working Holiday visa holders already in Australia who can prove their accounting capability.
