No fluff here. A Vietnamese restaurant group in regional New South Wales is growing and needs 3 experienced cooks and chefs, starting immediately.
The kitchens are busy. The group wants cooks with fire in the belly who turn up, graft and keep their standards when the dockets pile up. If you cook Asian food well, you have a head start.
Holders of a Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485) are welcome. Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) sponsorship may be considered for suitable and eligible long-term candidates. It hangs on business needs, your eligibility, solid performance on the job and immigration requirements. Nothing is automatic.
The job is for people already living in Australia who will work at the restaurant they are allocated. Initial training in Port Macquarie may be required first.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook Vietnamese and other Asian-style dishes to restaurant standards
- Keep quality, presentation and portions consistent
- Prep food, rotate stock and keep the kitchen clean, following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Work fast through lunch and dinner rushes with the kitchen and front of house teams
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial Cookery qualifications, or relevant time in a professional kitchen
- Highly preferred: you have cooked in Asian cuisine kitchens, especially Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese or other Asian restaurants
- Noodle soups, stir-fries, rice dishes and other Asian meals in your experience are an advantage
- Works independently and holds up in busy service periods
- Reliable, punctual, committed to high standards and flexible on availability, weekends too
- Must be currently located in Australia
