Know how to keep the pass moving on a packed morning? A highly rated, independently owned café on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland wants a Chef for its breakfast and lunch kitchen. The food is creative, the ingredients are good, a lot is made in-house, and the hospitality is genuine.
It is a full-time job with mostly day shifts. Expect high volume and a fast pace, with owners who are hands-on. The level is open. An experienced Chef fits. So does a Senior Cook ready to step up, or someone at Sous Chef or Head Chef level. Your duties will be shaped by your skills and your leadership potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook and plate top-quality breakfast and lunch dishes
- Keep every plate fresh, consistent and properly presented
- Run prep and keep the kitchen tight and efficient
- Back food safety, cleanliness and stock control, and pull your weight with the team in busy services
- Bring ideas for the menu and kitchen, and take on leadership, training and kitchen management where it makes sense

- Proven experience in a professional commercial kitchen
- Stays confident under pressure in busy services
- Takes pride in presentation, consistency and food quality
- Organised
- Efficient and a good team player
- Positive attitude
- Strong work ethic, comfortable with early starts and weekend work
- Previous leadership experience highly regarded
