Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Italian dishes, including handmade pasta and traditional recipes, with consistent quality
- Keep daily kitchen operations tight: inventory and cleanliness standards
- Work with the kitchen team on new recipes and menu items
- Manage kitchen staff and keep the working environment positive
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations
- Work flexibly as schedules change and during peak hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Take ownership of the standard of every plate that leaves the kitchen
Requirements & Eligibility
- A Certificate I - IV qualification is preferred
- Cooking experience of 2 years is preferred; 2 years in Italian cuisine is preferred as well
- Work authorisation for Australia is preferred
