Here is a straight offer for coffee people: several Barista roles in Cairns with a specialty roaster in Far North Queensland. They want energetic, highly motivated professionals who can lead from the bar.
You run the coffee programme, keep quality and speed up, develop the people next to you and help drive product innovation. It is full-time, 5am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability.
The employer says employee sponsorship applies to these positions under the FNQ DAMA, the Far North Queensland Designated Area Migration Agreement.

Key Responsibilities
- Grow, upskill and manage a team of baristas
- Put a genuine, efficient, top-tier coffee in front of every customer
- Lead QC cupping sessions, work closely with the roasters and help select green beans for purchase
- Roast in production when needed
- Keep WH&S standards in place across the space
Requirements & Eligibility
- Real specialty coffee knowledge and experience; Q-grader, cupping, barista competition, barista training or roasting experience is highly advantageous
- Leadership and team-building skills, proven
- You like people and you look after customers
- Strong time management and organisation
- Growth mindset and willingness to start at 5am
