Stonemason

Visa sponsorship

Trade · Sydney, NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $92,000 - $137,000/yr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Sydney stone shop, benchtop work, permanent job. That is the short version. An established manufacturer there wants an experienced Stonemason / Stone Fabricator to turn natural and engineered slabs into kitchen benchtops and other pieces, and it wants someone proud of what leaves the workshop. No dry cutting here, because the place runs 100% wet-processing, water-fed fabrication.

You get full-time, long-term work with an immediate start. The week is Monday to Thursday 7:30am till 5:00pm, then Friday 7:30am till 4:00pm, and extra hours come through overtime and Saturdays.

On visas, the wording is careful: employer-sponsored visa opportunities may be available for suitably qualified and experienced international candidates who meet Australian immigration requirements. Applicants overseas, Mzansi included, and temporary visa holders already in Australia can both apply. Say where you are, your visa status, your qualifications and how long you have worked stone.

Back it up with an English CV that shows the work: trade papers, the slabs and edges you have handled, your White Card and driver's licence. Put a straight-talking stonemason CV together on Build AI CV.
