A home of 20 beds. That is the whole place. A not-for-profit care organisation near Grafton, New South Wales wants a part-time Registered Nurse for it.
The brief is plain enough. Look after the old people in your care as individuals and do the clinical work to an exceptional standard. Be good with residents who have dementia, or be prepared to learn. Talk straight with your colleagues. Work the shifts you are given, whichever days they fall on. Solid, experienced leadership stands behind the nurses.
They are after a nurse with energy, and visa sponsorship will be considered for the right candidate. If you trained in Mzansi, that is worth knowing.
Do the groundwork first. Your CV needs full unrestricted AHPRA registration on it, your aged care knowledge and the hours you can give. Write a plain-spoken CV for a part-time nursing job, then apply.

Requirements & Eligibility
- Full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Post-graduate applications are welcome
- Affinity and experience with dementia residents, or willingness to gain experience working with them
- Excellent communication skills, excellent clinical problem-solving skills
- An excellent, highly motivated team player
- Availability to work various shifts across various days
- Vaccinated in line with the organisation's immunisation policy, including a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza
- Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Check, and a pre-employment medical assessment
