An aged care home in Coffs Harbour, NSW needs a Registered Nurse who can run a shift and nurse well. The job is permanent and full-time.
You will work for a not-for-profit provider on the New South Wales North Coast. Expect a mix of mornings, afternoons and nights. You report to the Care Manager.
The work is hands-on. Clinical care for residents. Leading and coaching the personal care team. Earning the trust of residents and families. Picking up changes early and acting on them.

Key Responsibilities
- Nurse residents to best-practice clinical standards
- Run the shift and coach, supervise and guide personal care staff
- Read changing resident needs and act on them with clinical judgement
- Earn the trust of residents and families
- Keep the home safe, positive and inclusive, sticking to clinical, safety and organisational policies
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- At least 2 years of nursing behind you, ideally with aged care in the mix
- Know your aged care legislation, the Aged Care Quality Standards and AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge of ageing and age-related health issues
- Confident coaching, mentoring and supporting care staff, with strong communication, conflict-resolution and emotional intelligence
- A positive, collaborative way of working and competent IT skills
