Key Responsibilities
- Look after the planning and review of gas, water and sewer works
- Develop drawings, quantities and specifications, and turn them into tender documentation
- Track project programs and spending, and prepare cost reports
- Keep communication open with clients, authorities, asset owners and subcontractors
- Answer technical questions from site teams and handle RFIs and variations
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards, and contribute to risk assessments, SWMS and ITPs
Requirements & Eligibility
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- A background in utility, pipeline or civil construction
- Knowledge of the Australian Standards
- Knowledge of what Queensland water and sewer authorities require
- Knowledge of in-situ and precast concrete
- Organising the ordering of materials and the hire of plant and equipment
- Strong skills in communication and with stakeholders
- Possession of a current Queensland driver's licence
- Applicant holds full Australian work rights
- Desirable: White Card, plus AutoCAD or Civil 3D and project software experience
