Tower climbers and telco techs, listen up. An Australian-owned contractor in Brisbane needs a Telecommunications Field Engineer who can lead integration, commissioning and carrier acceptance on sites across the country. The company does rigging, civil construction, RF and transmission work and structure upgrades or decommissioning for carriers and prime contractors.
No desk job here. You will work greenfield builds and brownfield co-locations, using RF and Tx skills, rigging tickets and structural know-how on the same site. Travel is national, out to remote and metro locations. Two director-led teams run the delivery.
The job is full-time and direct with the employer, not labour hire, under ANZSCO 313212. The employer is an approved Standard Business Sponsor (Subclass 482, Skills in Demand). Overseas applicants on eligible visas who are suitably qualified may be considered, but Australians get priority.
