Straight talk for experienced Registered Nurses: a family general practice in Dubbo, NSW, wants a full-time Practice Nurse, Monday to Friday. You would be the backbone of the clinic's nursing work, giving primary care to individuals and families, and doing health assessments on home visits.

Key Responsibilities
- Work with the doctor on patient services
- Order and rotate stock, sterilise instruments and service treatment-room equipment
- Teach patients
- Apply infection control and WHS practices; help the practice meet accreditation standards
- Lead by example for other clinical staff
- Run triage and manage wounds with dressings
- Give immunisations to children and adults, plus travel vaccinations
- Do corporate health checks including ECG, audiometry and spirometry
- Manage chronic disease and complete age-appropriate and Indigenous health assessments
- Manage cold-chain storage and educate staff
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current AHPRA registration and required CPD points
- Basic Life Support / CPR certificate that is current, or equivalent
- Working With Children Check
- Multi-tasking, problem-solving and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- A Certified Immuniser counts in your favour
