No fluff here. A well-established Sydney pub wants a full-time Duty Manager who can run a shift properly and lead people well. The place has loyal regulars and consistent trade across the bar, gaming, sport, events and guest rooms.
You own your shifts and pitch in on front- and back-of-house operations. The pub belongs to a larger hotel group that is serious about governance, clear standards and developing leaders, so there is potential to progress within the group. If you are an experienced Duty Manager, or a senior supervisor ready for a broader leadership job, this one fits. Sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts across bar, gaming, functions and guest rooms, and handle opens and closes
- Look after cash handling and reporting
- Support functions and events, and help run local marketing and in-venue promotions
- Help with ordering, stock control and supplier coordination
- Have input into rosters and labour efficiency
- Keep the venue compliant on RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety
- Coach and develop the team, and keep service standards and guest experience where they should be
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year in the job as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor
- Experience with gaming
- TAB and KENO experience
- RSA, RCG and ARCG, current
- A strong leadership presence and strong communication
- Calm, organised and good at solving problems
- Comfortable holding service, people and compliance in balance
- Back-of-house experience is highly regarded, and experience in functions, guest rooms, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing is favourable
