If you have kept rigs and trailers moving back home, you know the work. Servicing heavy trucks, chasing brake and electrical faults, sorting out axles and landing legs, doing NHVR safety inspections and keeping the paperwork straight.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair heavy diesel trucks
- Keep semi-trailers in working order, including air brake systems, axles, wheel bearings and landing legs
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, braking and suspension faults and repair them
- Do preventative maintenance and scheduled services
- Carry out safety inspections and stay NHVR compliant, logging maintenance records and job reports
- Get the work done efficiently without cutting corners on quality
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or equivalent
- Hands-on time on heavy vehicles and trailers
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Air brake systems and trailer maintenance experience
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- HC/MC driver's licence is an advantage
- A strong work ethic
- A commitment to safety on the job
