You keep the whole lot moving, from light vehicles and trucks to motorbikes and station machinery. Services, breakdowns, callouts, parts on the shelf, and showing station staff how to do their daily checks.
No sugar-coating. It is extremely hot and humid. Alcohol and drug tests may happen, and there is zero tolerance. Sponsorship is available for skilled and eligible applicants who meet the ad's criteria, but only if you are in it for the long haul.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair vehicles and machinery, and handle problems and callouts as they come
- Work safely with machinery and tools, and supervise and train station staff on daily checks and services
- Log parts used for reordering and keep the common ones in stock
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualified in Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, at least 2 years' experience
- Mechanic experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for station life
- Safe on diagnostic and test equipment across the fleet, and efficient and safe with tools and equipment
- C Class driver's licence (essential)
- Motorcycle licence, HR or MC licence would be an advantage
- Can work on your own or in a team in a remote location
- Can sort out innovative solutions when parts or tools are not readily available
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, good communication and a positive attitude would be an advantage
- Fit to work in high temperatures and high humidity
