Good with people and fussy about a clean vehicle? A vehicle rental branch in Queenstown, New Zealand is after a Customer Service / Groomer. You groom vehicles, not dogs. That means getting the hire fleet clean, checked and ready to roll.
You work the phones, sort out queries, give advice and write up quotes and contracts. Customers include business, commercial and recreational travellers. It is a small team that grafts, so you muck in across the whole branch.
The job is permanent and full time. You are rostered for 40 hours per week. The branch runs 8.00am to 5.00pm in the week and shuts at 1.00pm on a Saturday. It is an Accredited Employer with Immigration NZ, though, and can consider candidates who require a work visa if it cannot make that appointment.

Key Responsibilities
- Man the phones and give sales advice and quotes
- Write up contracts and wrap up transactions
- Line up vehicle deliveries and pick-ups, and deliver or fetch the vehicles yourself
- Stay on top of office administration and customer account maintenance
- Keep every branch vehicle and the rental fleet groomed to the highest standards
- Make certain all necessary compliance checks get done, help pick up and escalate repair and maintenance issues, and manage maintenance and damages as required
Requirements & Eligibility
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence, or the overseas equivalent, and computer skills that are basic to intermediate
- Previous customer-facing service experience (ideally in the vehicle rental industry, but it's not essential), with previous grooming experience preferred but not essential
- A confident phone manner and excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills and great attention to detail
