Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on personal care, holistic and culturally safe: showering, dressing, eating, mobility and communication
- Help with care planning and stick to therapy plans for residents with dementia
- Keep an eye on residents, report how they are progressing and flag changes or concerns fast
- Keep records accurate and current, and back the registered nurses within your scope of practice
Requirements & Eligibility
- Genuinely committed to improving older people's lives, with kindness and empathy
- A real passion for aged care
- Willing to work any shift on the 24/7 roster
- Caregiving experience preferred
- Dementia care experience counts as a strong advantage
- To get visa support you must hold a Registered Nursing degree, or a Level 4+ caregiving qualification with an International Qualification Assessment (IQA)
