Key Responsibilities
- Trim, cut and portion goat, chicken, lamb and beef the halal way
- Store meat, handle it with care and keep the display right
- Talk customers through their choices, special orders and how to cook the meat
- Keep the shop clean, safe and in order, to food safety standards, and pull your weight with the team every day
Requirements & Eligibility
- Time spent working as a butcher; halal experience carries weight
- Good knife and portioning skills, and an eye for detail
- Know how halal rules apply to preparing meat
- Deal well with customers, speak clearly, and be reliable, hardworking and a team player
