Utility Arborist

Visa sponsorship

Trade · New Plymouth, New Zealand · Full-Time · $32 - $40/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Tree work is a proper trade, and New Zealand needs people who do it well. A national vegetation management company wants a Utility Arborist at its New Plymouth branch, working across Taranaki.

The brief is direct. Keep vegetation off the powerlines so the electricity stays on. That means assessing what is growing, planning and coordinating the clearing, and working shoulder to shoulder with line crews, clients and property owners. Safety comes first, every time.

You will work 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, and overtime is optional. There is training and a clear chance to move up. The company is an accredited employer and can sponsor a worker on the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), so applicants from Mzansi and everywhere else can apply.

Get a sharp English CV together first. Show your arboriculture qualification, your licence and real examples of chainsaw and pruning work. Knock your tree-work CV into shape with Build AI CV and send it off.
