No colour bowls, no foils, no drawn-out bookings. Just cutting. A group of Perth haircutting salons is getting busier by the month and needs more senior stylists, full-time, at $37 - $55 per hour.
Here is how it works. A customer sits down, you cut and style, they leave happy, and the next person takes the chair. You are not asked to bring a client book across with you. The salons are based in shopping centres, with public transport close by. Sponsorship is available, and that is the full extent of what the employer says about it.
The job fits a hairdresser who would pick scissors over a tint brush any day. It also fits someone getting back into the trade, or someone tired of cutting alone at home. If you learnt your craft in Mzansi, the cutting itself will feel familiar.

Key Responsibilities
- Cut and style hair for men and women, start to finish
- Work on a single head at any given moment, and leave chemical work out entirely
- Keep up with the regular online and in-house training, and back your team
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 2 years on the floor cutting hair
- Confident with all aspects of a cut, on men's hair as much as women's
- Properly passionate about hair
- Well-groomed, well presented
- Good at communication
- A positive, friendly person who works well in a team
