No fluff here. A not-for-profit aged care provider with strong values is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its residential home in Inverell, NSW. You will work mornings, afternoons and nights.
The job is real nursing. You assess residents, set up their care plans and keep reviewing them, handle medicines safely and keep your notes in order. You practise within your scope under AHPRA requirements and aged care standards, side by side with the Care Manager and General Manager. 482 visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents in full and pull together health and care details from them and their families
- Handle admissions, ongoing assessments and care planning
- Draw up care plans, put them to work and review them often
- Keep clinical paperwork accurate and up to date
- Give hands-on clinical care where needed
- Give medication safely and manage ordering, storage and records properly
- Keep watch on residents' health and react to clinical changes
- Team up with residents, families, carers, GPs and staff for better health outcomes and a safe, respectful, person-centred home
- Pitch in on quality, compliance and continuous improvement, and mentor care staff on clinical needs
Requirements & Eligibility
- AHPRA registration, current
- Residential aged care experience, knowledge or both
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Strong medication management and documentation skills
- Solid understanding of aged care accreditation and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of the government standards for aged care delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A current National Criminal History Check, or able to obtain one
- Genuine passion for supporting older people to live with dignity, choice and respect
- Must meet the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening
