Key Responsibilities
- Run quality nursing care built around each resident
- Handle medications and watch residents' health and wellbeing closely
- Draw up care plans, carry them out and review them
- Steer and support the care staff on shift
- Keep clinical records and documentation right, and speak clearly with residents, families and health professionals
- Work to the Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical policies, and pitch in on quality improvement and clinical reviews
- Respond quickly when a resident's condition changes or an emergency hits, and stay sharp through continuing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum of six months as an RN in aged care
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Know AN-ACC funding and the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Intermediate computer skills and confident with clinical documentation systems
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance and current National Criminal History Check
- Valid Queensland driver's licence
