Straight to it. A residential aged care home in Hervey Bay, Queensland, needs a full-time Registered Nurse who can carry clinical work and lead people at the same time.
You will assess residents, check vital signs, handle medications and treatments, and build care plans for each person. You will also direct graduate RNs, ENs, student nurses and care workers, run regular performance reviews and keep the standard of care high across the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents and check their vital signs
- Handle medications and treatments
- Build individual care plans and see them through, giving care based on evidence together with residents and the team
- Direct graduate Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, student nurses and Personal Care Workers
- Keep care at the highest standard by leading the team, running regular performance reviews and backing staff development
- Deal with clinical staff, residents, families, allied health professionals, GPs and external organisations
Requirements & Eligibility
- Bachelor of Nursing with current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current professional and ethical practice in aged care and in infection control, matching legal and AHPRA requirements and the Nurses Code of Conduct
- Experience in aged care
- Willingness to complete ongoing mandatory training
