Head Chef

Visa sponsorship

Hospitality · Gold Coast, QLD, Australia · Full-Time · Discussed at interview · Visa: Employer sponsored

This is a straight-talking Head Chef job on the Gold Coast for a chef who can run two kitchens at once. The venues sit next to each other. One is an award-winning grill house doing smoked barbecue, proper steaks and burgers. The other is a 1920s-style cocktail lounge with share-style tapas and private functions.

You answer to the Executive Chef. You set the menus, run the brigade, watch the costs and cook on the line when the dockets pile up. If you need visa sponsorship, the group welcomes your application and will support the right candidate through the process where applicable.

Mzansi chefs with braai and grill experience should make that obvious on paper. Get your grill-chef CV sorted on Build AI CV and put your trade qualification, team sizes and busiest kitchens first.
