No fluff here. A busy central Auckland venue wants a full-time Hospitality All-Rounder, and it pays $23.95 - $28 per hour.
You will cover tables, the bar and the general jobs in between. It is fast work with guests at the centre, the kind of shift you know if you have worked a Friday night in a Joburg or Cape Town restaurant. Training is done on the job.

Key Responsibilities
- Work the tables: take orders and bring out food and drinks
- Ring up payments accurately on the point-of-sale system
- Pour and mix at the bar, from cocktails, beer and wine to non-alcoholic drinks
- Clear and reset tables quickly; keep the venue clean and sharp
- Greet guests and make them feel welcome
- Get special requests and dietary needs to the kitchen and bar clearly
- Back up the kitchen and bar crew when it gets busy
- Know the menu, specials and drinks so you can recommend
- Restock and keep work areas in order, following health, safety and food handling rules
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting, including some waiting or bar service
- A passion for great customer service
- Strong communication skills with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods on busy shifts
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude, flexible and a good team worker
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- POS experience is desirable; training can be provided
- Barista or bartending qualifications are an advantage but not essential
