It is a role for a nurse who likes variety. Triage, chronic disease management plans, health assessments, wound care and immunisations, including for kids, sit alongside ECGs, spirometry, venesections and iron infusions. The admin load is real too: recalls, stock, ordering and the cold chain.
General practice experience is preferable, but on-the-job training is offered to the right candidate. Temporary Residence / Permanent Residence sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with patients
- Answer phones when required
- Triage patients
- Prepare chronic disease management plans and health assessments
- Run the recall and reminder system
- Look after stock control and ordering
- Keep cold chain management tight
- Do ECG and spirometry tests
- Carry out IV iron infusions and venesections
- Manage wounds and give immunisations, including childhood ones
- Assist with minor procedures, maintain equipment and back up the GPs and other staff
Requirements & Eligibility
- Unconditional registration with AHPRA that is current
- A current immunisations certificate, or a willingness to complete the training
- A CPR certificate
- A current Working with Children Check
- A good work ethic and good organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work autonomously and in a team, in a fast-paced environment
- General practice experience is preferable
