No fluff here. This is a Chef job for a qualified cook who can hold their own in a growing kitchen. A golf club in a tourist town in north-east Victoria needs someone passionate and highly motivated to support its head chef, sous chef and kitchenhands.
You answer to the Head Chef. The team is professional and busy, career development is on offer, and you can start immediately. Pay is $75,000 - $80,000 per year, Full-Time. Visitors keep the town busy with skiing, boating, fishing and hiking.
Note the conditions. You need to be already in Australia with valid work rights. Sponsorship may be available to exceptional applicants after a successful trial period, so the trial counts.

Key Responsibilities
- Cook menu items and keep each plate up to standard from prep to presentation
- Train new starters and less experienced staff
- Supervise the cooks, help out as needed and hand out tasks
- Stick to hygiene regulations
- Keep tabs on food stock and do the ordering
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial cookery qualifications (Cert 3 or higher) and the experience to back them up
- 2 years' experience minimum in a commercial kitchen
- Good communication
- Able to work unsupervised and in a team
- Understanding of food hygiene requirements and OH&S
- Valid work rights in Australia and flexible availability for a weekday and weekend mix in a 7-day operation
