Building surveyors and consultants, listen up. A Sydney property risk consultancy is hiring a Building Consultant / Senior Building Consultant, full-time, and wants people who can back up their findings.
The job is hands-on and report-heavy. You go out and assess buildings, run technical due diligence, put together make good (dilapidations) reports and advise on property. Clients are owners, investors, insurers and occupiers. You will deal with commercial, retail and industrial buildings plus alternative assets, and some of the work is on big, complex property. There is mentoring and ongoing professional development too.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Eligibility
- Degree in Building Surveying (UK), Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- 3+ years' experience in building consultancy, surveying or property advisory
- Strong inspection, investigation and problem-solving skills
- Able to prepare clear, concise and technically robust reports
- Confident engaging with clients
- MRICS or similar professional accreditation (or working towards it) highly regarded
- Confident engaging with industry professionals
