This one is for fitters who already know canopies, trays and 4WD kit. A Melbourne business that builds premium canopies, trays and toolboxes plus 4WD gear, Australian-owned and growing across the country, wants an experienced Auto Accessories Fitter. Full-time, immediate start.
You will bolt the firm's own products onto customer vehicles in fitting bays built for exactly that. Plenty of those vehicles are brand new, and you will see the latest standard, plug-in hybrid and electric models. The employer wants someone already working in the automotive aftermarket or 4WD accessories industry, so if that is your trade in Mzansi or anywhere else, it fits.

Key Responsibilities
- Pull off and replace vehicle parts
- Prep and fit accessories, often on brand new vehicles
- Fit trays, drawer modules, windows and keyless entry systems that come out of the company factory
- Assemble canopies and trays and install them with the other accessories
- Do quality work, with a sharp focus on detail and safety
Requirements & Eligibility
- Real experience fitting accessories to vehicles
- Hands-on automotive installation work behind you
- Good, practical knowledge of 4x4 accessories
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to doing the job safely
- Driver's licence and forklift licence (no forklift licence yet? It can be arranged)
- Auto-electrical or OBD skills are preferred, not essential
