No frills here. A tourist park in Port Hedland, Western Australia, is growing and needs an experienced cook or chef. They want someone who shows up, works hard and takes pride in good food.
It is full-time. You work 5 or 6 days per week, whichever you agree on. It is a residential job, not FIFO. That means you live where you work, so be sure you are up for it. You will do a pre-employment medical with a drug and alcohol test. Sponsorship opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook proper meals to a high standard, every shift
- Keep quality, portions and plating consistent, and waste as little food as you can
- Follow food safety and hygiene rules and do the cleaning that goes with them
- Help with stock: control it, order it and rotate it
- Run a clean, safe, organised station, work well in a busy team and help with prep and service when needed so the kitchen stays efficient
Requirements & Eligibility
- You have previous experience as a cook or chef
- You have a good understanding of kitchen operations and food safety
- You can prepare consistent, high-quality meals
- You are reliable and you can work under pressure
- You have good communication and teamwork skills
- You have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic, and you are willing to live and work locally
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery preferred. No formal qualifications? Relevant experience may be considered instead. Food Safety Certificate preferred
- You complete a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
