Senior CNC Machinist Setter

Visa sponsorship

Manufacturing · Dunedin, New Zealand · Full-Time · $38 - $45/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored

Mzansi machinists who have done the hard yards on complex setups, take note. A precision manufacturer in Dunedin, New Zealand, is hiring Senior CNC Machinist Setters for a team of about 30. It makes high-mix, low-run parts for sectors like aerospace and medical.

The job is mill-turn, Swiss-type and multi-axis machining on tough parts with complex geometry and tight tolerances. There are no shortcuts, because quality, repeatability and detail come first. You need to work on your own, make good calls and own your results, while sticking to proper process. Permanent full-time roles are open on day and night shift.

The company has Accredited Employer status for the AEWV, and potential immigration support, sponsorship included, is a possibility for exceptional candidates who closely match the skills, experience and attributes it wants.
