A FIFO employer flying out of Perth needs Refrigeration Mechanics who can work unsupervised, think through technical faults and hold a high standard when site conditions get tough. Safety, flexibility, technical skill and steady service all count here.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle scheduled servicing and preventive upkeep of refrigeration systems
- Fault-find on the electrical and mechanical side of refrigeration plant and put problems right
- Fix and look after cooling plant plus the equipment linked to it
- Respond fast when something breaks down or needs urgent attention
- Inspect equipment and note what maintenance is coming up
- Write up service sheets and keep the maintenance paperwork current
- Liaise with maintenance crews and the wider site workforce
- Follow site safety and compliance rules so jobs get done safely and without wasted time
- Look after your tools, gear and work area, and keep service dependable even in remote locations
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade-certified Refrigeration Mechanic (relevant trade certification) with a background in commercial and/or domestic refrigeration
- Hold a valid ARC Licence
- Hold a current WA Restricted Electrical Licence
- A current driver's licence
- Ready to get or convert any licences and certifications the role calls for, where required
- An Australian Federal Police Clearance no more than 6 months old (issued within the last 6 months)
- Working at Heights and EWP certification, or prepared to complete it
- First Aid, LV Rescue and CPR certification, or prepared to complete it
- White Card / Construction Card, or prepared to get one
- Fit to pass medical checks plus drug and alcohol testing
- Physically up to 12-hour shifts in tough conditions
- Adaptable and dependable on FIFO rosters, with safety as a firm priority
- Holds Australian/New Zealand working rights, or is suitable for sponsorship
