Key Responsibilities
- Take on track construction and maintenance jobs plus other project tasks on the rail network
- Put your proven rail know-how to work on whatever works you are assigned
- Lay and fix track to the project's specs and safety rules, sticking to set rail safety procedures and site requirements
- Cooperate with rail gangs, supervisors and others on site
- Keep your work professional on every project task
- Move between project locations whenever needed
- Apply the rail competencies and qualifications you hold correctly, and help with Thermit Welding if suitably qualified
- Make sure the records of your skills, experience and competencies stay accurate
Requirements & Eligibility
- Hands-on rail and track experience you can demonstrate
- KLE Profile (current) plus the relevant competencies for the rail industry
- Thermit Welding competency is advantageous
- Genuine experience in the industry that can be verified
- Whatever qualifications, licences, tickets or certifications are relevant
- A strong grasp of site procedures and rail safety
- Dependable and adaptable on project-based work, and free to travel when required
- Overseas applicants who are suitable may be considered for sponsorship
- Pay will be decided by experience, competencies and suitability
