Key Responsibilities
- Install metal roofing systems on a range of project types, including concealed-fix, corrugated and long-run roofing
- Measure, cut and set out roofing materials precisely
- Make and fit flashings
- Fit gutters, downpipes and other rainwater goods
- Handle waterproofing and weatherproofing work
- Build from technical drawings and construction plans, then inspect finished roofs for quality and accuracy
- Work safely at height on live construction sites
- Follow project procedures and site safety requirements
- Cooperate with builders, supervisors and other trades
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 3 years of relevant metal roofing experience, with strong hands-on installation skills
- Experience on commercial or large-scale construction
- Demonstrated know-how in installing flashings and waterproofing
- Can read plans and drawings
- Has worked at heights
- Keeps workmanship at a professional standard
- Basic English for communicating on the job
- Relevant trade qualifications are preferred; major infrastructure or commercial project experience is highly regarded
- Construction experience in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia or Kuwait is advantageous
