Medium Rigid MR Manual Dairy Driver

The alarm goes before most of Perth is awake, and by the time the city starts moving your dairy run is well under way. This Balcatta-based role is for an experienced MR or HR driver who drives safely, turns up every day and treats customers well.
You will own a regular dairy delivery route in Western Australia and become the familiar face customers trust. From the early start to the last drop, accuracy, safety and consistency are what matter most.
You get independence on the road, plus training and team backing so you can do the job safely and with confidence. Keep a copy of your licence and a record of your driving history ready when you apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your assigned route safely and efficiently in a medium rigid manual truck, following road safety rules
- Get dairy products to customers accurately and on schedule, handling day-to-day delivery problems sensibly
- Build good working relationships with customers across the area and represent the business well
- Do pre-start checks and report any faults or maintenance concerns on the vehicle
- Load, carry and unload dairy products safely, keeping them free from damage
- Keep delivery paperwork and records accurate
- Follow workplace procedures, transport regulations and safety rules, staying consistent on the early-morning schedule
- Help the team make deliveries more efficient and lift service standards
Requirements & Eligibility
- Current MR or HR driver's licence, with demonstrated experience behind the wheel of medium rigid vehicles
- A strong record of safe, responsible driving
- Punctual and reliable at work, with a professional and positive attitude
- Able to run a regular delivery route on your own
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to spot and sort out practical problems, with strong attention to detail
- Committed to workplace health and safety
- Able to safely lift and handle products weighing up to 20kg
- Understanding of Australian road transport regulations
- Available for approximately 42 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, starting at 2:00am; sponsorship is available for suitable candidates who meet the role requirements and want a long-term Australian opportunity
