Maintenance Fitter

Trade · Fremantle, Perth WA, Australia · Full-Time · $57/hr

Conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and motors keep an FMCG plant moving, and when they stop, production stops. This Fremantle manufacturer in Western Australia wants a qualified Maintenance Fitter who spots trouble early and fixes it before it costs output.

Expect a mix of planned servicing, fault-finding, repairs, inspections and improvement projects. The focus is on keeping machines reliable, not just patching breakdowns, so a preventative mindset matters.

The employer checks qualifications and work history properly. Trades moving to Australia are usually assessed again, often through Trades Recognition Australia, so keep your South African trade papers close.
