Excavation, set-out, drainage, paving, retaining walls, turf and planting: on a commercial landscape build in the Northern Territory you touch all of it. A professional team in Darwin wants a skilled Commercial Landscaper for ongoing construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle site prep, excavation and groundworks, including accurate set-out, levelling and base preparation
- Lay turf and put in plants, mulch and other soft landscaping
- Build paving, edging, small concrete elements, retaining walls and other landscape structures
- Fit drainage and irrigation systems
- Run plant, machinery and landscaping gear safely
- Take on general commercial landscape construction tasks
- Hold quality steady and pay close attention to detail, keeping tools, equipment and work areas tidy
- Follow health and safety procedures on every site, every day
- Keep pace with project schedules and construction targets
- Talk clearly with supervisors and the rest of the crew, work alone when needed and add to the wider team
- Keep professional standards on every commercial worksite
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years' proven experience in landscape construction, with strong practical knowledge of commercial landscaping
- Able to show real hands-on landscaping experience
- Relevant formal landscaping qualification advantageous
- Punctual, reliable and committed to the job
- Puts workplace safety and quality workmanship first
- Current full driver's licence essential, and own reliable transport essential
- MR driver's licence advantageous
- Current White Card essential
- Permanent Australian work rights preferred; temporary residents need not apply
- Visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants
- Working with Children Card (OCHRE) or willingness to obtain; DCAC for Robertson Barracks advantageous
- Physically able to do outdoor landscape construction work, whether in a team or on your own
- Willing to commit to a stable, long-term position
