Hotel Manager

One hour you are checking in a guest, the next you are briefing a contractor or chasing a repair. This Hotel Manager role at an established hotel at The Entrance, on the NSW Central Coast, suits someone who would rather be on the floor than behind a desk.
The employer wants a capable, energetic manager for the long term, with a practical, hands-on way of running a property. Staff coordination, guest care, contractors and maintenance all land on your plate, so no two days look alike.

Key Responsibilities
- Run the hotel day to day and support its ongoing performance
- Help and look after guests directly
- Coordinate staff, contractors and service providers, and handle communication with suppliers and outside organisations
- React fast when operational problems pop up
- Make sure work gets done efficiently and to a high standard
- Pitch in with minor maintenance and property issues
- Troubleshoot faults and organise repairs where needed
- Keep the property safe, organised and welcoming
Requirements & Eligibility
- Communicates strongly in English
- Previous management experience or proven ability to manage
- Hospitality or accommodation industry experience is advantageous
- A practical, hands-on way of working
- Strong leader and coordinator, and an excellent problem-solver
- Confident working alone and making decisions
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills are highly regarded
- Adapts to changing situations
- Interested in building a long-term career, and willing to relocate within NSW
- Visa sponsorship is available for suitable, eligible candidates
