Key Responsibilities
- Deliver polished hairstyling and finishing work, from blow-dries and upstyles to braids and occasion looks
- Tailor each look to what the individual client wants
- Get clients ready for weddings, events and professional photoshoots, and help out on events, campaigns and creative industry projects
- Keep your workmanship and personal presentation to a high standard
- Give warm, professional service and work closely with colleagues so clients get a coordinated experience
- Stay on top of current hair trends and styling techniques, joining education programs and industry masterclasses
- Use professional products and tools correctly
- Help build a positive, team-minded workplace
Requirements & Eligibility
- A relevant hairstyling qualification, or substantial professional experience
- Proven range across many hairstyling techniques, gained in a professional salon or similar setting
- Strong customer service and communication
- Creative thinking and a passion for the beauty industry
- Keeps quality high when time is tight
- Presents professionally and puts the client first
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Committed to continued learning and professional growth, and works well in a team
- Willing to take part in salon, event and creative opportunities
