Paper qualifications alone will not land this one. A respected salon group in Perth, Western Australia is growing its team and wants Hairdressers, Stylists and Colourists who can prove, chair-side, that their skills match their certificates.
Selection looks at three things: qualifications that can be checked, real salon experience and what you can actually do with scissors and colour. The right people join a modern salon with structured education, creative work, performance rewards and a team that backs one another.

Key Responsibilities
- Cut, style and finish hair to a professional level, and carry out colour work and other suitable treatments
- Talk each client through the look they want and the condition of their hair, then advise on what will work best
- Hold your technical work to a high standard and give every client consistent, personal service
- Stick to the salon's procedures, service standards and professional presentation
- Stay current on techniques, products and trends, and take part in the training and education on offer
- Pull together with the rest of the salon team
- Help out on creative projects, photoshoots and fashion work
Requirements & Eligibility
- Holds a Certificate III in Hairdressing or a recognised equivalent
- Professional hairdressing experience you can demonstrate, gained working as a Hairdresser, Stylist and/or Colourist
- Real hands-on technical ability that you can show in practice
- Up to date with contemporary cutting and colouring techniques
- Consults well with clients and communicates clearly
- Brings a professional, client-centred attitude and keeps up the pace in a busy salon
- Positive, and keen to keep learning
- Can supply evidence that backs up your qualifications and work history
- Your relevant experience must be verifiable through proper employment documents, and if you need sponsorship you must satisfy the relevant sponsorship and visa eligibility requirements
