In Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, an established hospitality team needs a Chef de Partie to own a section and keep it running cleanly through busy services.
You will work alongside senior chefs to keep food quality high, the kitchen efficient and the guest dining experience strong. The team values consistency, solid kitchen skills and people who lift the mood in a demanding kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the prep and service of food in your allocated section, sending out dishes that consistently meet quality, presentation and portion standards
- Back up senior chefs so the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, getting ready for busy services, functions and special events
- Put forward ideas for menus, specials, seasonal and local produce, and better ways of running the kitchen in team discussions
- Guide and support junior kitchen staff through the day
- Keep cleanliness, food handling and kitchen hygiene to a high standard
- Follow food safety procedures and workplace requirements
- Watch ingredient and stock levels and let the right people know when supplies need topping up
- Stay professional, cooperative and positive when the pressure is on
Requirements & Eligibility
- Recognised culinary qualification or equivalent professional training
- Demonstrated experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen role, including time in a busy or high-volume hospitality setting
- Strong hands-on cooking and food prep skills, with a creative approach and a real commitment to quality
- Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance standards
- Keeps dishes consistent and up to standard during busy services
- Communicates and works well in a team, and can supervise or support junior kitchen staff
- Good organisation and time management
