Chef

Hospitality · Coraki, Lismore & Far North Coast NSW, Australia · Full-Time · $80,000/yr

Picture a Monday-to-Friday kitchen week of 76 hours per fortnight, where you run the show instead of just working the pass. A well-established care organisation in New South Wales wants an experienced Chef Manager to take charge of its kitchen and lead the team that cooks for older residents.

This is a leadership job as much as a cooking one: menus, food quality, compliance, staff and kitchen performance all sit with you. The salary on offer is $92,820–$109,200 plus salary packaging benefits, in a supportive workplace with a clear sense of purpose.

Have your South African cookery qualification and kitchen references in order before you apply.

  • Act on resident feedback and bring in improvements where they make sense
  • Keep kitchen records and paperwork accurate, and run a safe, efficient kitchen that meets the relevant regulations
  • Bring fresh ideas for menus, processes and the wider dining experience
