An established Wagga Wagga team has an opening for a Barber / Hairdresser who has done the hours in the industry, holds credentials that can be trusted, and takes pride in looking after clients.
Sponsorship is part of the picture, but the main goal is finding a capable professional. Every applicant's skills, qualifications and employment background will be checked. The team values technical ability, professionalism, presentation and lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quality haircuts to men, women and kids, from timeless classics to current trends
- Ask clients what look they are after before you start cutting or styling
- Handle beard trims, shaping and grooming, plus wet shaving where your skills allow
- Finish every cut and style to the same standard, with careful attention to the small details
- Point clients to the right hair care and grooming products
- Work to the shop's health, safety and hygiene rules and keep your chair and tools spotless and in order
- Treat every client in a friendly, professional way so first-timers become regulars
- Pull your weight alongside the other barbers and hairdressers, look the part and add to a positive, team-focused shop
- Take part in in-house training and ongoing professional development
Requirements & Eligibility
- Preferred: a relevant Barbering or Hairdressing qualification
- Practical, demonstrated experience working in a barbershop or salon, with solid technique in both traditional and modern cutting
- Comfortable working with all kinds of hair and varied client requests
- Communicates well, gets on with people and puts customers first
- Well presented, detail-minded, dependable, upbeat and motivated
- Can work unsupervised or with others, and is open to picking up new techniques and growing professionally
- Experience in shaving and beard grooming is advantageous
- Apprentices who have suitable practical training may also be considered
- Applicants must be able to supply qualifications and work history that are genuine and can be verified
- Candidates must satisfy the applicable Australian employment and visa rules, and those already onshore are preferred
