Key Responsibilities
- Give quality haircuts, styling and grooming, from fades and tapers to classic cuts and modern barbering styles
- Trim, shape and groom beards
- Talk with each client about the style they prefer and what they need
- Use professional barbering tools and equipment safely and well, and clean and look after them
- Bring precision, consistency and an eye for detail to every cut
- Welcome clients and serve them professionally
- Keep your station clean, sanitised and organised, following hygiene, safety and professional standards
- Stay current with barbering styles, techniques and what customers want
- Move clients through efficiently in a busy shop while working well with the rest of the team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven professional experience working as a Barber
- Strong practical knowledge of barbering and men's grooming, with demonstrable hands-on time in a professional barbershop
- Can perform a wide range of traditional and modern barbering services
- Strong eye for detail and a commitment to quality
- Good communication and client service
- Professional appearance, a positive attitude and a reliable, responsible work approach
- Works well at a fast pace
- Works well alone and in a team
- Available full-time and part-time; immediate availability is advantageous
- Suitable, eligible candidates can be offered sponsorship
