Panel beaters and assemblers, here is a straight opportunity in Albury, NSW. A vehicle repair business that is growing wants more hands in its workshop, full-time and for the long haul.
The shop itself is modern, tidy and roomy. It runs chassis benches, a spot welder, a glue pulling system, dustless extraction stations and mini scissor lifts. Standard hours are 8am to 4:30pm. On visas, the ad says sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate (subclass 482).
Your trade test certificate is a good starting document, but trades are usually assessed again in Australia, so keep your papers in order, Mzansi.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair and restore damaged panels until the vehicle is back to how it was before the crash, with precise, careful work.
- Refit repaired vehicles and test that every component is fitted correctly and working.
- Work with the crew, communicate with supervisors and sort out problems so repairs stay on time, customers are satisfied and results are excellent.
- Follow industry regulations, safety protocols and quality standards, and keep your tools and equipment running well.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Proven experience in your trade in automotive repair.
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are a must.
- A sharp eye for detail and pride in high-quality workmanship.
- Can work at pace in a fast-moving workshop and meet deadlines without dropping quality.
- Know your way around industry-standard tools, equipment and techniques; hard-working and team-minded.
