Brakes, suspension, services and the odd tricky fault to track down. A well-established automotive business in Mornington, Victoria is growing its workshop team and wants an experienced Motor Mechanic who can be trusted to get it right.

Key Responsibilities
- Service vehicles and carry out scheduled maintenance, inspecting each one to see what it needs
- Inspect, repair and replace brakes, and repair and upgrade suspension
- Diagnose and fix general mechanical faults using the right tools and diagnostic equipment
- Finish every repair to a high standard of workmanship with accurate, professional work practices
- Follow workshop safety rules and operating procedures
- Explain vehicle problems and needed repairs clearly to customers
- Work efficiently on your own and with the rest of the workshop team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of relevant motor mechanic experience, with a demonstrable and verifiable automotive work history
- Relevant automotive trade qualification preferred
- Strong hands-on mechanical repair and servicing skills
- Valid driver's licence
- Able to deal professionally with customers
- Reliable, punctual and motivated, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Able to work on your own and as part of a team
- Willing to provide supporting evidence of your qualifications and experience; applicants seeking employer sponsorship may be considered
